The Novo Nascer Hospital is a reference when it comes to mental health. Families that face issues such as drug addiction, alcoholism or emotional disorders have at Novo Nascer a real opportunity for recovery and the certainty that they have found the best place.
Novo Nascer, founded on December 8, 2013, was born because of a family need to find quality treatment, a complete space to treat a loved one with chemical addiction and emotional disorder.
Today we have a team of more than 150 professionals who have taken on the institutional mission: treating to rehabilitate the patient in the first place. They are clinical physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, nutritionists, physical therapists, physical educators, art therapists, occupational therapists, among others, who closely monitor all aspects of each patient’s comprehensive health.
Thus, we received people from all over Brazil in search of a multidisciplinary, individualized approach, carried out by a team of specialists and in an appropriate space for treatment.
The treatment is modern, follows international guidelines, uses state-of-the-art medication and takes place in a well-maintained and pleasant environment of 6 hectares surrounded by the lush Atlantic Forest that covers much of Camaragibe, Aldeia, where it is located. The Institution is completely legalized in the control, licensing and inspection bodies, including: Regional Council of Medicine, Federal Council of Pharmacy, Regional Council of Nursing, Regional Council of Psychology, City Hall, Fire Department, Health Surveillance, among others. We follow quality procedures, risk management, as well as good preventive practices for nosocomial infection. For all these reasons, we are a 100% safe hospital.
It has been six years of solid performance and many and exciting stories of overcoming affectionately collected, which propel us to continue growing and reaching more and more families.

We use dialogue as a mediation of conflicts; we abhor violence. Patient anonymity is one of our highest priorities, as well as providing a safe environment, free of drugs and sex.
Led and guided by our clinical and psychiatric medical team, nurses guarantee the continuation of therapies applied daily, 24 hours a day. Whether in the female and male CATEs (Special Attention Center), in the nursing posts of the Jacarandá Residence (Men) or the Bromélia Residence (women), or even in the SATE (Special Care Room) and the Red Room, nursing is present in this drive of total attention every day in each of these spaces.
Whenever there is any need for assistance, we are present. The service receives demands from Monday to Monday, at all hours, in order to be accessible to demands that have no time to happen by nature. Personal and electronic monitoring follows the same logic, ensuring the comfort and safety of everyone constantly within the institution. It is natural to worry about what you will eat daily during a hospital stay. Within the institution, we have the services of one of the largest food companies in Brazil, providing all six meals of the day from Monday to Monday. Keeping the separation between men and women also at meals, the nutrition of each patient is coordinated by nutritionists who even elaborate special diets that are varied in the case of health needs.
The moment of hospitalization is a time to dedicate yourself as much as possible to the work of recovery. Therefore, daily, the patient has access to varied therapies so that, sometimes in groups, sometimes individually, the acquisition of new attitudes towards life, as well as new knowledge for their own empowerment and personal enrichment, can be structured with solidity.
From the moment of arrival, the patient finds spaces only for women. Our female CATE (Special Attention Center) is the place where the first days will be welcomed. Afterwards, the women go to the Bromélia Residence, where they continue treatment with other levels of therapeutic assistance.

Even more when we add psychiatry and psychology services in a single space, among other therapeutic approaches, and when that space is located on six hectares of Atlantic Forest, surrounded by green in well-kept gardens everywhere.
All of our suites are air conditioned with LCD or LED TV, gas heated showers, cabinets, box type beds or residential hospital (HR beds) if necessary. We also have 100% accessible rooms, anti-fall floors and safe plastic film mirrors. The outdoor laundry service guarantees clean sheets and clothes. Good nights sleep is also part of the treatment.
Diagnostic accuracy is of fundamental importance. For this reason, a series of tests, including images, are requested in medical consultation so that the Individual Therapeutic Plan can begin to be drawn up. When medication comes on the scene, it needs to be the best possible, reducing side effects, being more effective and saving the unnecessary wear and tear caused by medications from previous generations. For this reason, we have a state-of-the-art, modern medicine portfolio in our own pharmacy and within the institution.
The extensive green and leisure area is what draws the attention of those who visit Novo Nascer. However, hospital equipment is present in several environments, such as emergency carts (for PCRs or cardiopulmonary stops), residential hospital beds and our ambulance. In addition, we have our own pharmacy, within the residential area, with daily operation.
